Teddy is stunningly beautiful. He is a long-haired (Himalayan) tabby (lynx) point with blue eyes.
Upon his arrival at Kitty City, he was very frightened. We paid lots of attention to him and talked to him in his kennel in hopes that he would lose his fright of people. Ed was his one and only favorite person who he trusted and responded well to. Ed had worked exclusively with him. Teddy then needed to expand his horizons and become accustomed to other people. He is now in the adoption building where he encounters staff and visitors. We are hopeful the change of location will help Teddy to adjust better. He has accepted pets from other people. He is a gentle kitty and does not display aggression, but he remains skeptical of strangers. He continues to ask us for time, patience and tender loving care!!
Update on 5/8/25: Teddy has come out of hiding and remains in sight when visitors come to his room. He has been very receptive to pets from even people he has never met before. He has made great strides and he can only continue to improve.
