Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Kitty City NM cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

$90 - Kittens aged between 0-8 months
$75 - Cats aged 8 months - 8 years
$30 - Cats aged 8 years and up

Fees for Cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

At adoption, adult cats will will have the following:

Rabies & FVRCP
De-worming
Flea/Ear Mite treatments
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
Microchipped

At adoption, kittens will will have the following:

FVRCP
De-worming
Flea/Ear Mite treatments
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered when old enough
Microchipped at the time of S/N
