Spruce's owner passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Spruce and her sister Marble were brought to Kitty City by a concerned and caring neighbor. Spruce and Marble were very frightened upon their arrival. We allowed them the time they needed to settle down and become acquainted with new people and their new surroundings. Everything was different from the life they had known. It was hard on them, but our patience is paying off. Spruce is no longer hiding and is often at the glass door to her room where she watches us. She now wants us to come in and visit her. She now seeks our attention and pets. And she is a lap kitty. Want a furry friend for life? Pick up Spruce, put her on your lap, and pet her all over!
