Darling Shasta was trapped as a stray shortly after Christmas. She was brought to Kitty City and was taken to the vet for her spay, vaccinations and microchip. She is the sweetest, friendliest kitty, but she is still timid from her past experiences. We talk to her softly and reassuringly, and she responds positively to us. She wants us to pick her up and hold her close. Once she is settled onto a human lap, that is where she wants to stay! We feel that as we continue our interaction with her, Shasta will no longer be timid, and we hope she will be the one initiating cuddle time. This little girl loves to be loved!
Shasta has a gray coat, but because she has a brown nose, some people say she is officially a brown tabby.
