Oriole is a pretty girl who has a two-tone coat of black with some gray. Until July 2025, Oriole has been with her mama. After she was separated from her mama due to her age, Oriole understandably missed her mama. We placed her in a catio with other kittens who were a bit younger than she is. She showed no interest in being with the other kittens. Then it came to us: Oriole didn't like being behind bars or wire. So Oriole was placed with a few adult cats in the adoption building where she was free to run around and explore. She liked that! However, she pretty much ignores the other cats. Oriole is loving her freedom and does not seem to need the companionship of another cat. She is much more open and receptive to humans and their gentle touch. She has shown contentment when being picked up and cuddled close. We are hoping Oriole develops strong relationships with the staff and maybe even a cat or two. We would describe Oriole as sassy, playful and a loner.
