This sweet and very shy little girl is a gentle soul with absolutely no aggression. Yes, she is timid and cautious, but Nina is responding so well to humans that she was placed in a room with other kitties. Nina is doing very well with her kitty roommates as well as with visitors to her room. Nina was rescued from the outdoors by two very nice ladies who willingly took on the role of caregivers for her. Nina was spayed and rabies vaccinated on July 3, 2024. Her caregivers still visit her daily and bring with them loads of love to shower Nina with. Nina is okay with being picked up by someone she is familiar with. She is becoming more accepting of being held, cuddled, and walked around in our arms. Dare we say she is even beginning to let her guard down and actually enjoying being petted all over. She is making great strides to overcome her shyness and continue placing trust in us. While her journey continues, we are confident the self-assured, lovable kitty that we all know is there will emerge.
A quiet home with one or two patient adults would be ideal for Nina - a home where she will be given the opportunity to come out of her shell at her own pace while receiving lots of tender loving care.
