Oliver is a lucky little guy because he was rescued from one of the canyons in La Luz, New Mexico, by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan. Although Oliver was alone and considered to be feral when rescued, we see him as being more scared than feral. If we speak softly to him and approach him slowly, he responds well. We can pick him up and hold him close. He's still a little cautious and unsure, but is making great strides to trusting humans and enjoying our attention and affection. We are confident Oliver will become fully socialized in a short time.
