Gracie was raised and socialized in a foster home with a very loving foster. The foster said Gracie was very, very sweet and such a good girl. She was loved and adored. The foster said Gracie and her brother Harley were some of the sweetest kittens she has ever fostered. Although they were afraid at first when taken home with her, she said they soon settled right at home. Each morning they were always waiting at the door for her. They were very playful. They sat on her lap and watched TV. They also loved looking at her own cats.
Since Gracie has been at Kitty City, she has been shy with people. We can occasionally get in a pet or two, but Gracie just doesn't respond to our attempts to pet her and pick her up. We feel that because Gracie was a loving kitten in her foster home, there is potential for that sweet kitty to emerge once again. Until then, we continue to show Gracie affection and play with her, which she loves.
