Gelato came to Kitty City to dry out after weaning her kittens and prior to being scheduled for spay surgery. Gelato is a very sweet, gentle and shy girl. She shows no aggression at all. Once she is assured that we humans are her friends, Gelato responds positively. She actually enjoys being picked up and placed in a human's lap. While Gelato is being sweet-talked, her purring begins. With reassurance from all of us, Gelato will quickly come out of her shell and want to be a friend to everyone.
