It was assumed upon Dottie's arrival that she was feral and a return-to-field cat. That is why her left ear was clipped at the time she had spay surgery. However, Dottie has shown all of us that she is NOT feral, just a bit uncertain of her new surroundings. We were able to pet her head and she responded affectionately. She is gentle and seems to have affection to give. Dottie is in a room with other kitties and becoming acclimated to her new environment. We feel she will do very well.
