Caroline is a beautiful, petite tortie. She was brought to Kitty City when her owner had to go into assisted living and was unable to take Caroline with her. So Caroline needed a home quickly. She was a very shy girl at first, but we noticed that she wanted the workers and volunteers to pet her in her kennel. She did not want to leave the kennel, and was hesitant about being picked up. But she just loved the attention, pets and belly rubs. A decision was made by the staff to place Caroline in a room with other nice, gentle cats. Well, she fooled us all and after only a couple days, she walked over to the humans visiting her room and asked for affection. She also intermingles with the other cats just fine. She is absolutely thriving and happy now. We assumed Caroline needed time to get to know someone new, but she does not hesitate to seek those belly rubs she loves so much. It doesn't matter to her the source of the belly rubs, as long as someone is doing it. Oh, and we can pick her up now! She is a natural sweetheart and affectionate kitty. There is only one thing missing: a loving, forever home of her very own!
