Wanda and her brother Willy were found outdoors and were taken into a loving foster home. Wanda and Willy were separated for a two-week period when Wanda was found, rescued and placed in her foster home. Willy was found two weeks later. In spite of having been separated - or perhaps because of it - Wanda and Willy are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Wanda is playful, but initially, she had been hiding from humans. However, after she and Willy were reunited, Wanda's tendency to hide has lessened. She is gaining confidence and trust.
