Earl Grey was a rescue and thought to be feral. However, this gentle boy is NOT feral. The poor cat was just frightened, having gone through quite a lot being lost outdoors, rescued, taken to the vet, and then brought to Kitty City. The little guy encountered strange, although well-meaning, people and many other cats. It totally overwhelmed him. Earl Grey is free to roam the front area of the main adoption building. Until he becomes comfortable with his new routine, he is taking it cautiously, choosing for now to find hiding places. We have quickly discovered that this gentle boy is a real sweetheart who loves being picked up snuggling face to face. He immediately settles into a lap and happily takes in all the pets and tummy rubs while purring and making air biscuits. This kitty is definitely an affectionate lap cat. We are hoping he soon discovers that the other kitties around him are nice and want Earl Grey to join in on their play sessions.
Earl Grey is a handsome kitty. Along with his dark tabby stripes, he has a mixture of colors including black, tan and white.
