Windy came to Kitty City very frightened and leary of people. We have worked with her and attempted socializing her; but unfortunately, Windy has never gotten over her distrust of people entirely. We can pet her head occasionally and she will come close for treats. But she immediately backs off when someone approaches her and attempts to make friends. Windy is residing in the main front area of the adoption building, and she is very happy being with other cats. She has been seen snuggled up to several of them. She is very playful.
If Windy is adopted, her adopter will need to have extreme patience with her. She will require lots of tender loving care in order to let go of her nervousness.
UPDATE as of March 29, 2024: Ed, Kitty City's owner, has made the decision to not attempt to adopt out Windy. She will be a permanent resident at Kitty City.
